You may be asking, “Why would I want to join a small group?” Here’s four reasons why we think you should check out our small groups at Kettlebrook.
To Begin: Contrary to everything you may know about the church, it did not begin in a building. The visible church began in the form of small groups which met in homes to eat, fellowship, and talk about Jesus’ teachings. Church was not something that took place on Sunday mornings, but was a part of one’s everyday life. This is how the church began, and it is how we invite you to begin here at Kettlebrook.
To Become: What is your purpose? Why are you here? What are you looking for? We believe that God has made you for a purpose. A small group is a safe environment where you can dig further into the issues that matter most to you.
To Belong: In the context of small group, you will begin to really feel like a part of God’s family. While we use our Sunday morning gatherings as a time for worship and teaching in a large group, this format is simply not conducive to forming authentic friendships that are a necessary part of our walk through life.
To Be a Part: Although the above benefits appeal directly to the individual, quite frankly, it’s not all about you. Our small groups are designed to help you realize your place in God’s bigger picture, and give you an opportunity to recognize the impact you were made for.
